CFD applications using CFD++

This paper presents a brief overview of Metacomp's simulation
software components available under the Altair
Partner Program and how they can be used in
conjunction with Hyperworks. CFD++
(for fluid flow) integrated into Hyperworks
using Hypermesh, Hypermorph and Hyperstudy
provides such an environment for
aerodynamic shape optimization.
Features of
CFD++ and MIME will be discussed along with
examples of the integrated work. Also the possibilities of
integrating CAA++
for aeroacoustics will be presented.
The ultimate use of any simulation tool or set of tools is to improve design
by minimizing cost, maximizing reliability and optimizing parameters.
