This paper presents a brief overview of Metacomp's simulation software components available under the Altair Partner Program and describes how they can be used in conjunction with existing Altair products. The ultimate use of any simulation tool or set of tools is to improve design by minimizing cost, maximizing reliability and optimizing parameters.

CFD++ (for fluid flow) integrated with the CAA++ acoustics software can provide an environment for accurate aeroacoustic simulations for automotive at a fraction of the cost of traditional methods such as large-eddy simulation.
