For renovating numerous steel bridges a inflatable, flexible tent will cover these bridges to enable clean and safe working conditions. This tent has to bear with high wind speeds up to Beaufort scale 12. A Fluid Structure Interaction Simulation with RADIOSS has been performed to simulate the interaction between the wind pressures and the deformations of the tent. The goal is to design a flexible concrete foundation which is able to keep the base of the tent on it place.
