Methodology Improvements for Numerical Acoustic Analyses Sébastien Drouilhet-Peyre, Sogeti Numerical simulation in acoustics is an expanding & consuming field. Calculations remain very costly and limits as a matter of fact their use in industrial topics. The aim of this presentation is to propose the state of the art in terms of numerical application. The use of new adapted solutions enables users to increase design domains and to face industrial constraints. Within aeroacoustics, boundary element codes allows realistic geometries and an average aerodynamic flow to be considered. The use of HyperMesh for this processes has reduced meshing generation and increase topology quality.
